Report title
Once a report has been selected, at the top you will find an icon of the commodity that is being summarized. To the right of the icon is the week of the report with its corresponding date range and the title.
Navigation options
The first dropdown menu under the title box allows you to quickly change between other Market Update reports that are part of your profile.
When you first open a Market Update, the initial report you will see is the latest report that was created. If you want to see an older report, you can do so using the next two navigation options.
The second dropdown menu allows you to change the year of the report and the third dropdown menu allows you to change the week of the report.
Additionally, on the far right you can choose to see the report in kilograms or pounds.
Summary statistics
The summary statistics offer a snapshot of the market data in the reports. The first metrics are the percentage differences for prices and volumes compared to the previous week, with an arrow indicating if the change is positive or negative. The second metric is the average price and total volume, which is accompanied by the same metric for the previous week. Lastly, these statistics are summarized in a short text.
Price and Volume Chart
The first chart offers both the average pricing and total volume of the report with 30 weeks of history. The link under the title opens to the Custom Report, where the same data is available. The data can be modified and navigated.

Market Price charts
The Market Prices charts offer a summary of the USDA Shipping Point prices. The first chart compares a parameter for the commodity of the report. This parameter can be Origin, Size, Market, Variety, etc. We have tried to select the most relevant parameter, but it may not be the only one available. To the left of the chart is a table that reports the same values of the week of the report.
The second chart compares the average price of the last four years with the prices this year. Apart from that, it shares the same basic format and layout of the first chart and table.
For both charts there is a link under the title that can be used to see this same information as a live market report and modify it to better fit your needs.
Market Volume charts
The charts in the Market Volumes section share the same format as Market Prices, with the first chart reporting the volumes by origin and the second chart comparing the volumes of the last four years with this year.
Market volumes are continuously updated as reports from various US government agencies and grower associations are made available. As a result, this report is published with incomplete volume data, and the volumes available for the previous week should only serve as a guide. On Wednesdays, they are measured to be on average 10.13% lower than the final volumes reported once all data has been collected.
For both charts there is a link under the title where you can see this same information as a live market report, allowing you to modify it to better fit your needs.
