Compare by History allows the ability to compare this season to the last four.
Other than using a link from an existing historical report, be it in Market Updates or in one of the Stories, there are two ways to create a ‘Compare by History’ report from scratch.
The first way to compare this season to the last four is using the ‘Compare by’ dropdown and selecting ‘History’. This action will compare the average or sum of the report that is currently open and overlay it on top of the last four years of data.
The second way to compare this season to the last four is by clicking on the ‘Compare by History’ icon [image of icon] down in the right-hand column of the table under the chart. This action will open the report in another tab, visualizing the data selected against the last four years.
Yes, this is a feature that is particularly important to the agricultural industry. Using the dropdown menu on the right-hand side above the chart you can choose to organize the data aligned by calendar year, or starting in the middle of the year and ending in the middle of the year the following year.
