The first dropdown menu in any report offers a choice between the available datasets. Simply select the desired dataset from the dropdown and the report will update to present the selected data. This action resets all the filters, but the ‘Commodity’ and ‘Compare By’ options are retained.
For example, if you are looking at a report of organic blueberries from California, changing the dataset to ‘USDA: Movements’ will bring you to the report for all blueberry volumes in the US market. You will have to use the filters to navigate deeper into the data if desired.
In Custom Reports, changing a dataset works the same way as with the single dataset report. Since there is no ‘Compare By’ dropdown, however, only the commodity is retained when a dataset changes and the rest of the filers for the line are reset.
